Simplicity Or Perspicuity : Is it the same ?

                            Somebody inquired in anticipation : how is your new job ?
The question conceals an opportunity and demands a sagacious reply . An opportunity  to understand the subtle difference between perceptions incessantly changing over time. Here I was with a well thought rhetoric :

My team works on PDD(Physical device drivers) which can be segregated into PIL and PSL. Leave alone PIL part that's clients headache,we clean up the PSL mud which try to congregate the USBCS and USBPSL,there is much more though I don't feel the need for explaining the superflous information of HAL , Nomadik_USB and hardware layer. We supply this as a package.

Silence prevailed and my heart exclaimed with joy Gotcha !!!!

I could have simply said I work on USB drivers and it really was'nt that difficult to say and that would have been a more laconic reply.But I chose the insidious way and behind it was a prospection which i'll address by the end.
Lets spare a moment to give a thought to how things really are changing around us.
Simplicity and perspicuity more or less they are synonyms but is it really so, do both infuses the same effect when listened to..

You no more think over things you muse over them
You don't agree with people you acquiese with them
You no more content yourself with the compliment of being keen minded , for you they termed perspicacious
You don't label your friend as parochial for being a inveterate in crying over petty grudges, do you..??
What are you thinking..oops pondering over how I missed the term pussilanimous !! Now you seem to be in accord..
While writing this down came a moment in Roadies where a girl is expressing her view over if she can't win she want another girl to win.. and there came the term feminist...i corrected my friend as feminist just won't do and labeled her a chauvinist...
People do not just indulge themselves in artistry for pleasure anymore...term dilittante(chitts ;)) is so going obsolete even before most of us will know about its mere existence..

Whay I want to convey is that there is always a simpler way of putting things forward but does simplicity really is in accounting someone else's ignorance. You either dominate an argument or you bolster it. How does it matter to me if you don't understand bolster. Coming back to where I left the analysis of my reply regarding my job,I could have easily avoided the technical jargon.

What if I would have simply replied that I work on USB. And there came the barrage of puncted arrows.."Ohhh USB and the weird tone of saying it ..literally meaning just USB thats so simple..". Thats the only reason I opted for a more cogent mode of expression.
Say it the way you want to but choose the words a little equisitely and at times delibrately obfuscating ones.
             Simplicity does not necessararily lie in using simplicity,perspicuity presents you well.

         Remember If you can't convince them confuse them because thats another way of convincing.
